Leadership. Experience. Values.

Hello Forestburgh neighbors, I’m Gillian, and I care deeply about the place we call home. Forestburgh is shaped by people who look out for one another, volunteer their time, and take pride in our rural character.

We Can Work Together To Create a Better Future.

My name is Gillian Kaiser, and I am honored to be a candidate for the Town of Forestburgh Supervisor position. I have been a resident of the Town of Forestburgh for over sixteen years.

As a volunteer for the Town of Forestburgh Comprehensive Plan Committee in 2017, I gained a wealth of knowledge about the needs, goals, and desires of Town residents as well as an in depth understanding of NY Town Law and local Zoning and Planning.

My personal and professional experience along with my volunteer roles make me uniquely qualified to serve as the Town of Forestburgh Supervisor. I bring a reasonable approach to managing day-to-day municipal operations, presiding over the town board, and overseeing the town’s financial health. I look forward to serving the Town residents in a fair and equitable manner as we prepare for the future of Forestburgh, together.

We Will Make History Together

My approach to public service

Caring for Forestburgh’s future together Forestburgh’s identity comes from its forests, quiet roads, wildlife, and the people who value living close to nature. Stewardship — of land, resources, and community relationships — is central to keeping our town strong.

I’m committed to learning how decisions about roads, zoning, conservation, emergency services, and taxes affect everyday life here. I want to work with residents to understand what’s working well and where we can improve.

Whether you’re a lifelong resident or spend part of the year here, your perspective matters. I’m here to listen.

Respect
Transparency
Responsibility
Stewardship
Collaboration

These principles guide how I show up for the community.
